Rewire Timescale FAQs

Can I stay in my house during the rewire?

Yes, in most cases. We work room by room and restore power at the end of each day so you can stay in the property throughout. We'll discuss the programme with you before starting.

What slows a rewire down?

Solid brick walls take longer to chase cables into than modern cavity walls. Very old properties with complex existing wiring can also add time. We'll give you an accurate timescale after surveying your property.

Do you work weekends?

We primarily work Monday to Friday. Weekend work can sometimes be arranged by prior agreement.

When will I be without power?

Power is typically off during working hours each day and restored each evening. We'll plan around your needs and give you advance notice of any longer outages.
