Honest timescales from NICEIC-certified rewire specialists with 20 years' experience.

How long a rewire takes depends mainly on the size of your property and the type of walls (solid brick walls take longer to chase cables into than modern cavity walls). Below are typical timescales based on our experience rewiring hundreds of properties across North Somerset, Bristol and Bath.
| Property Type | Typical Duration |
|---|---|
| 2-bedroom house or flat | 3–5 working days |
| 3-bedroom semi-detached | 5–7 working days |
| 3-bedroom detached | 5–8 working days |
| 4-bedroom house | 7–10 working days |
| Bungalow (2–3 bed) | 4–6 working days |
| Large detached (5+ bed) | 10+ working days |

Solid brick walls take longer to chase cables into than modern cavity walls. Very old properties with complex existing wiring can also add time. We'll give you an accurate timescale after surveying your property.
We primarily work Monday to Friday. Weekend work can sometimes be arranged by prior agreement.
Power is typically off during working hours each day and restored each evening. We'll plan around your needs and give you advance notice of any longer outages.
